"Real ski-in/ski-out; service need improvement"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
This is one of the few REAL ski-in/ski out in Whistler/Blackcomb area. So REAL - that - except by the car - the best way to each the hotel is on ski. OR you need to walk on the mountain. There is a free bus that going to Whistler and it take less then 10 minutes. From another point - the place is very-very quiet, especially compare to Whistler village, full of night bars. My one bedroom room was simple, but nice and comfortable. Breakfast has many choices. The only issue with this hotel is service. Their maintenance/room service/some front desk people need a little bit more training, saying least ...
"First trip to Whistler"

Location is good, though a good 10-15 minute walk to the slopes with equipment on. The hot tub was great and fit me and my husband comfortably; my husband being 6ft tall. The room is very clean and the customer service was excellent. The negative was the wi-fi being spotty. It was frustrating everyday that we could not connect throughout the day/evening.
"The Harry Potter Room"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 5, 2013
Okay, maybe it's not as small as the Harry Potter closet, but my room was the one on the end of the hotel that was squeezed in there just because they had room. Most other hotels probably have this space as a storage space, or maybe a break room for the hotel staff. There was no room for a desk, there was no chair, no place to set up my laptop...frustrating. It was nothing like it showed on the website. Other than that, the hotel was nice and very well situated on the Village Walk in Whistler. Just make sure when you make your reservation that you don't get the room in the corner on the end.
"NEW YEAR'S IN WHISTLER"

There was a mixup with my reservation upon check-in, they wanted to put me in a room with two double beds, although I had booked a King. The staff said it was a mixup through Expedia, but they were able to get a King for only two nights and then I had to move my final night to a room with two double beds. Other than that, I thought the hotel was great! The wifi is a bit shaky, and doesn't work all the time. But overall, GREAT location.

Fun location, but rooms above bar noisy late! Short walk to gondolas, and staff was great; they recommended a great new Mexican place by grocery store; loved it!!! Food was amazing and service excellent.
"Rooms larger than expected"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 10, 2012
The room was much larger than expected. For two people it was a bit absurd. We got the room with kitchenette for access to a fridge, etc. There were essentially two complete rooms each with their own bathroom. The front desk wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. We wanted to find day hikes with views and the front desk attendant had no knowledge of hikes at all. This was disappointing and sent us to the village to find information on our own. Also, the pool/ hot tub closed very early (10pm) which was unfortunate after going on a 30 mile hike which left us sore and tired.
