"Nice, Reasonably Priced Hotel"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 21, 2013
We stayed here for four nights (Thursday through Sunday) asit was one of the more affordable places in Whistler and we were quite satisfied. Having taken the Snowbus, we arrived in Whistler at 8:30 am. Though our room wasn't ready, the hotel was able to check in other visitors that early who had also taken the bus. Our room was ready by 12:30 when we checked back after lunch and we were quite satisfied with it. There were two burners, a small fridge, pots, pans, plates, microwave and a few appliances (I think). The location is a quick walk to the slopes (we stored our skis for free at Carrolton Lodge) yet quiet enough to get some deserved R and R. The staff members we dealt with were all extremely friendly and helpful.
"Real ski-in/ski-out; service need improvement"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
This is one of the few REAL ski-in/ski out in Whistler/Blackcomb area. So REAL - that - except by the car - the best way to each the hotel is on ski. OR you need to walk on the mountain. There is a free bus that going to Whistler and it take less then 10 minutes. From another point - the place is very-very quiet, especially compare to Whistler village, full of night bars. My one bedroom room was simple, but nice and comfortable. Breakfast has many choices. The only issue with this hotel is service. Their maintenance/room service/some front desk people need a little bit more training, saying least ...
"Nice rooms but location is not the most convenient"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 27, 2013
We arrived late (~10pm) after flying all day and driving up from the airport through traffic. The front desk was closed and we had to drive all the way back to the village to the Blackcomb Lodge for check in. Not sure if I just missed this in our reservation or if it wasn't specified but the whole process of driving back and forth added an extra 45 minutes to our check in. Our room was great -- clean, comfortable, well-appointed. We had a small balcony overlooking the pool/hot tub area below and a fireplace. In unit washer and dryer was nice. The pool and hot tub were great -- perfect temperatures for both! The location of the hotel was not ideal. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the main village but the wait can be up to 15 minutes and it's about a 15 minute ride.
"NEW YEAR'S IN WHISTLER"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 3, 2013
There was a mixup with my reservation upon check-in, they wanted to put me in a room with two double beds, although I had booked a King. The staff said it was a mixup through Expedia, but they were able to get a King for only two nights and then I had to move my final night to a room with two double beds. Other than that, I thought the hotel was great! The wifi is a bit shaky, and doesn't work all the time. But overall, GREAT location.

My husband and I were really impressed with not only the level of service we received from everyone who worked at the hotel, but also how close the hotel is to everything. We were located right in the village and able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one is fairly priced. We were even offered a complimentary upgrade when we checked in! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Whistler, and I will book here again when we return!
"Rooms larger than expected"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 10, 2012
The room was much larger than expected. For two people it was a bit absurd. We got the room with kitchenette for access to a fridge, etc. There were essentially two complete rooms each with their own bathroom. The front desk wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. We wanted to find day hikes with views and the front desk attendant had no knowledge of hikes at all. This was disappointing and sent us to the village to find information on our own. Also, the pool/ hot tub closed very early (10pm) which was unfortunate after going on a 30 mile hike which left us sore and tired.
