"Comfortable & Convenient"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Very comfortable room; close to airport - which is what I wanted.
"small room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
The roos are quite clean and nice, but very small for 3 people, infact was even small for 2 people, but for the money paid, not bad...
"Convenient and cost effective"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I booked 3 rooms for 2 days stay and found an overall good experience. 2 of the rooms were in good shape, but the third had a bad odor. We didn't notice it at first, but started to get worse. Didn't bother us so because we were hardly in the rooms so we stuck with it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are little too close to each other and at times, you can hear next door neighbors if they are loud. It's not in the best location. Had to walk 15-20 mins until you get to the heart of nightlife scene. For the price, it was worth it.

This hotel is ideally located walking distance to many attractions and easy access to subway. Loved the decor and views.

it felt new. it was just a bit hard to find and the front desk lady wasn't helpful in providing directions (not on purpose--she just didn't know).
"Holiday Inn Express Montreal Centre-ville Downtown"Reviewed by Seshadri T of "Mississauga. Ontario, Canada." on Feb 18, 2012
This is great place to stay. Courteous staff at the front desk, service with a smile, and the feeling that it was a "home away from home" - what else could one ask for? The front desk staff went above and beyond, to make our stay pleasant and memorable. Whether it was calling a cab or sending someone to checkout the heater in the room, the service was friendly, quick, and professional. The food in the breakfast was great. Just a suggestion, and not a complaint - wish we had a microwave in the dining area (where we had our breakfast). We had to make do with cold , rather than hot milk we are used to. We asked for a late checkout, were told that the latest we could check out was 2.PM. We were behind by 20 minutes, and thought we would be charged for an extra day. Guess what? To our pleasant surprise, the staff at the front desk asked us simply not to worry about it. Instead they gave us extra time to pack.. The next time we are in Montreal, we won't look elsewhere to stay. It will be the Holiday Inn Express in Downtown Montreal.
