The main street out front of the motel is being torn up for sewer pipes and its going to last a few months at least. Try to get a room on the lower floor as no elevators & stairs narrow. Differcult to carry bags up the staircase. Also try to get a room away from the Mcdonalds resturant side. Its drive through is open 24/7 & noisey. Rooms are ok for non-season price. Bus line out front, easy to downtown but having a car way easier. good motel parking. Room has been remodeled. Room has fridge, but NO MICRO.

"Don't be suspicious of low price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 19, 2012
Small but comfortable room, ex-B&B, excellent location, friendly staff, very clean.
"Hotel nice, a bit of a walk to places of interest"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 18, 2012
The Ramada Inn was a very nice hotel at a really good price. The hotel staff were friendly and very hepful in directing me to bus and train stations to travel outside of downtown Vancouver. While I had to walk farther to the places I wanted to visit in Vancouver, I did so because the price of the room was signifiantly cheaper than surrounding hotels. The room was very nice and comfortable, but had a no view (a brickwall). The location was safe, although I recommend against walking up and down Granville. The adjacent streets are much nicer and have less panhandlers. One of the few hotels in the area to offer free wi-fi.

"A wonderful place!"Reviewed by James M of "Bay Area CA" on Apr 15, 2012
I came to Vancouver for a conference, and found out that I had to come in a day early the week beforehand. The conference hotels were sold out for that night, so I got this place on hotels.com. What a find! I wish that I could have spent the whole week here! It is a family-owned business in the very best sense. The place is clean, comfortable and *affordable*! The neighborhood can be "edgy" at night, but it is not dangerous. It has kind of a Berekely/ Cambridge feel to it. Spectatcular water views and walks await just a block away too! I intend to bring my teenage daughter here next year, as it really was a great place to stay and, had I not already prepaid the reservation at the conference hotel, I would have booked my whole week here.
"Excellent location!"Reviewed by Meg S of "Los angeles" on Apr 6, 2012
Great hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. We stayed here for six days and found the executive suite to be just like an ordinary apartment. The front desk is extremely helpful. The only downside was that the breakfast provided is just a couple items... Not enough to take the place of a real breakfast.
"great despite the area"Reviewed by CN of "abbotsord" on Feb 22, 2012
hotel patricia is in the heart of east hastings so the area is "colorful" but despite the area i was very pleased with how clean the hotel was. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the decor in the hotel was very 40's and nice. For the price this hotel is WELL worth every penny! very impressed!

Its far from downtown. The neighborhood is ok. There is a bar behind the hotel where you have your parking lot. If you are with your family\kids you might want to let them go upstairs before you park your car. There is a safeway right across the street from this hotel which is good.
"Perfect!"Reviewed by RCTID of "Portland, Oregon" on Oct 6, 2011
We were in town to watch the Portland Timbers beat the Vancouver Whitecaps and take a mini-vacation. We stayed for 4 nights at the Kingston. Last year we stayed in a hostel and this was a much nicer experience. The shared bathroom was 2 doors down from our room and did not seem to be a real inconvienience. The room was small but we weren't there to hang out in a hotel room so it suited us fine. All in all, it was clean, convienient and just what we were looking for.
