"Snug hotel in the heart of the action"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
This stylish hotel represents a great bang for your buck if you like the feel of a boutique hotel but are traveling on a budget. It's located in the heart of the city, close to shops, museums, dining, and pubs. If you're looking for an amenity-loaded hotel, this is not the place for you, but if you're looking for a newly renovated place to rest your head and don't mind the no-frills experience, this is the right place for you!

Very good hotel. Sadly the pub and restaurant were being renovated and could not be enjoyed. However they did give discount coupons for a nice restaurant close by. Will likely use again for future visits.
"Small but comfortable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 28, 2012
We were 3 friends having a fun Vancouver getaway, and it worked out really well with this hotel. The suite was a little tight, esp. the bathroom, and we had to ask for an extra set of towels each day because the bathroom only had room for 2 sets -- why they didn't just look on their list and put another set on the counter, I don't know! Silly thing to complain about, but it seemed to basic! Otherwise, decently appointed kitchen, only a table for 2, but that was fine, as we could eat in the living room. Our room overlooked Davie Street and the clubs, but wasn't as noisy as I expected it to be! Great location, everything accessible by foot or on a bus.
"Impressions"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 26, 2012
We loved our stay at this hotel, the front desk was very helpful. The room was very clean and cleaned daily with the change of sheets and towels, daily. We would like to suggest that the front carpet as the door opens be changed as it looked very dirty. First impressions are lasting sometimes. Overall, we'll be staying there again the next time we visit Vancouver, BC.
"Relaxing stay."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 26, 2012
Excellent, friendly staff. Great location. Room is dated but clean and everything else makes up for that! Will stay here again when I visit Vancouver.
"Great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
We stayed at Rosedale on Robson for 6 days and were pretty happy with almost everything at this hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. The service was good. The location was especially good for us. It was close to a lot of restaurants on Robson, but not right in the middle of busy business district. The only complaint I had was that the soundproof of the rooms was pretty bad. We could hear noises (all kinds) from other rooms (upstairs).

Close to light rail station, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Our stay was very satisfactory but when we left for the airport on the shuttle bus the driver insisted on taking my two pieces of luggage with wheels to the shuttle bus. There is about a 6 inch drop in front of your hotel between the door and the bus. The driver pulled my two pieces of luggage behind him and let them drop off of that drop in the pavement. I was afraid that might break the wheels on my luggage. I didn't notice any damage but I do believe the drivers should take the luggage on wheels a few steps further where there is no drop off. Reckless handling of other people's luggage is not good.

We will stay at this hotel again and again, the location was great. We were in Vancouver BC for the Sun Run and from this location we were able to walk to the start line. The staff where all very helpful when we asked questions about transportation and different areas.
