"Close to Cross-Country Skiing"

This was our second visit to Le Grand Lodge and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The location is perfect if you are a cross-country skier. They serve a lovely breakfast buffet with the fire roaring in the fireplace and a great view of the lake. We love the rustic feel of the lobby and bar area/restaurant. Our room felt a bit dated and needed better lighting. A remodel is in order at this point. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed but the design for the space could be better. The bed was somewhat firm but definitely sagged in the middle so this needs to be improved too. The staff was helpful and efficient. We will probably stay there again but would love to see the hotel invest updating the rooms so that we can give it a 5 star ranking!
"A very pleasant stay"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 12, 2014
The staff was pleasant, the room was cozy with a gas fireplace, microwave and ref, sink and utensils. The location was perfect with easy access to the slopes and a trail to ski back to the hotel, 20 feet from the secure equipment lockers. I have read other reviews that we're not very complimentary. I think that these are from individuals that are looking for private quarters with little room for human interaction. We were there during a period of high youthful activity and we're not unduly disturbed with excessive noise in the hallways. My room was next to the stairs and elevator. Don't miss a wonderful time here.
"kids loved it"

This hotel is a good alternative to staying at treblant itself, close to Mont blanc , 20 min drive to tremblant proper, easy to find. Kids enjoyed 2nd floor bedroom and a swimming pool.Sauna did not work. Fully equipped kitchennet allowed us to avoid restorants. Nice large tv, if you still have it in you to watch it after skiing. You can get discounted lift tickets to Mont Blanc at the reception desk.
"One bdrm spacious accommodations for a family of 4"

We were very pleased with our one bdrm condo. The whole complex is huge so there could be a bit of a walk to the pool or restaurant. Kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to have the deck to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. Overall a really great place to stay.
"Away from the Resort"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 14, 2013
The hotel is away from the Mont Tremblant resort where most of our activities were centered. The stairs climb to our room is quite challenging. There is no air conditioner in our bedroom as the blower comes out into the living room only. The walk to the lake is quite far. The lakeview is partial. The photo on their website does not really reflect the experience.
"Comfortable stay at this charming B&B"

We had a nice stay at Au Bois Jolie-- perfect for what we needed, which was a place to sleep, and nothing more. The breakfast was really good, the rooms were simple and clean and well heated. The only thing missing was a real fireplace, but there is an electric one. I am a lover of fireplaces!
