Very nice hotel. My wife and I spent 3 nights there and had a fantastic time. The room was great, just a standard room, but fully renovated, really nice shower and bathroom. I would definitely stay there again. It has a bit of "The Shining" vibe, big, quiet, etc. The new restaurant is beautiful. The oyster bar, and cocktail bar are awesome, the food in the main dining room needs some tweaking, my wife's soup was really good, my artichoke salad was great the cumin grilled lobster was just overpowered by the cumin, just could not taste the lobster. The Yellowtail tartar was a bit heavy with mayonnaise. All in all you can not go wrong with this place, the staff was really helpful, and the hotel is beautiful. Location is great. Being close to the Red Light was just a non issue so don't worry about that.” 11/02/09
