How to get to Mammoth Lakes Ski AreaMammoth Yosemite Airport is the closest airport to the area, with small chartered planes and private jets landing on a regular basis. From here you can book a cab or shuttle and arrive at the major resorts in about 10 minutes. There are also several bigger hubs nearby, and Reno–Tahoe International Airport is one of the best placed, with the drive to the resorts taking less than 3 hours. One of the easiest ways to arrive is by coach, with Amtrak bus services and several private tour operators offering services from Reno, Nevada and major Californian cities.
