"excellent choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 23, 2012
a little far from the train station, but still an excellent choice for a relaxing stay. On the beach, I could almost spit in the water we were so close. Rooms were great, clean, well maintained, shower was great, no problems. I wanted a place to relax for a few days and it was perfect. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was good, fresh, and plenty of it. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was much less expensive than I thought it would be. A 4 star hotel, true to its rating. I needed to check out early to catch an early train, so the manager checked me out the evening before I left and as I was leaving so early, offered to have the kitchen fix me a bag breakfast, or some cakes, or anything to take with me, which is something you do not experience often in hotels now days. The second day it rained and was cool and I asked about heating, but in Italy the heat is not turned on until November. I went back to my room to find the maid adding a blanket to my bed... now that is service. Add this to my permanent list of Best Places to Stay!

Kind & very helpfully,go-out-of-your-way staff. Right on the beach. However the beds were bricks with a 1/4th inch matress(that is how they felt) and a bit short. A/Cwas sub par to okay at best. Bathroom small but lots of ledge space(great for me). Shower was a "unit" enclosure and tricky. The dinning hall was nice and the crew a fun bunch of guys! The beach is fine sand and great water BUT it is privately owned and YOU MUST PAY! Is the feeling you are left with. I would go again but realize this is more of a RV type of feeling beach. The town operates parallel to the beach two blocks away. Food was easy to find good to great flavor
"Nice hotel, a bit noisy"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 11, 2012
The service was great and the hotel was very nice (the rooms are small, but it is Italy, so that is to be expected). We upgraded to a junior suite since there were 3 of us - then it was a perfect amount of space. Unfortunately we thought it was 4 beds and a couch... not so, two of the "beds" were the couch and it wasn't incredibly comfortable to sleep on, but wasn't horrible either. It was a bit noisy since they were re-finishing the deck right outside our room and the somewhat busy road didn't quiet down until late into the night.
"Very good value for the price"Reviewed by Manu D of "Los Angeles" on Mar 15, 2011
Very nice hotel, in the center of town and very close to' the beach, nice outside pool and beautiful spa. The only bad part is that the spa service only starts in the afternoon, in the morning you can only access the pool and the jacuzzi. Parking tip: no need to valet park your car at least until the end of April, because parking on the street it s free until that date, and there is plenty of parking spaces.

very nice hotel, most of the rooms have been remodelled, if you get an older room ask to change with a newer one, it's worth asking for it... nice fitness center, altough the sauna and the turkish bath are only working from 2.30 pm
