  The Grand is a beautiful hotel located outside of the city center in Luang Prabang. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel overlooks the river. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. Wifi connection was almost nonexistent so don't rely on it, but there are two desktops available for free in the main lobby. Overall, the stay here was great but the hotel is quite far from the center of Luang Prabang and the tourist area so if you want to be in the middle of the action, this place isn't for you. However, the place is quite beautiful and tranquil and the free shuttle to town (they give you a schedule when you check in) almost makes up for the distance.

  Clean, close to sights location, unattractive street, acceptable breakfast, a bit worn on the edges, however, reasonable rates

  I loved this hotel. It was small and quaint. I would defintely stay here again even after seeing other hotels around town. Be prepared that the toilet and shower have glass doors so they are visible when using and exposed to the room.

  The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Great rooms, stunning pool. However its about 10 min tuk tuk ride to the center, and Luang Prabang is such a charming little center that I believe its a must to be located in the center.

  The hotel was very nicely designed and renovated. Very charming. The decor of the rooms was very nice and fun. Checkin and service overall was great; all the staff was very accommodating – they even packed me a breakfast for an early checkout I had. The pool is quite nice too, especially after the hot Laotian afternoons.

  More objects than you can imagine , our room had at least 100! Great food 2 pools Several ponds Grounds and bldgs perfect integration Tuk tuk required to go to town...$2!
