"Honeymoon Delight!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 25, 2012
The hotel was in a great location near train station! Walked to almost everything. If you know anything about Naples, it is not a very clean city, however, after you accept that, we had a great time! The hotel was very clean and the staff very accommodating! Emmanuel, Elvira and Guilana were very helpful! I would definitely stay here again!
"Excellent choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 28, 2012
We live in NY and I took my daughter to Amalfi for her Thanksgiving holidays. The hotel is excellent and perfect in everyway. The price was amazing, the location perfect, the views from our balcony gorgouse and the staff very helpful and kind and wonderful. They helped us with our car parking, with directions, with calls to stores in nearby towns, etc. Loved it.
"Beautiful views, not so good service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 12, 2012
The views are outstanding, the service not so much. We wound up with a very crabby lady working the front desk and it unfortunately made a big difference in how we viewed the hotel. The shuttle service barely runs in november to get to town and traveling with an older mom, she had a hard time walking down to the town at night and back with the crazy cars zooming by. Not to mention the restaurant wasn't open so we couldn't eat dinner and they never warned us it was closed so we went to bed hungry. The curtains, bed linens are very outdated but the tiling on the floor was beautiful as were the views. Overall an ok stay. Would have felt alot better if we didn't have such a mean lady working the front desk.
"Amazing Views, Very Friendly Family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 6, 2012
The family running the B&B was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and were leaving early our last day, so Antoinetta baked the croissants the night before and brought us a full breakfast the night before (croissants are amazing!!!). We ate dinner there one night which was delicious and very affordable. There are a lot of stairs, but worth it for the view, and we figured good exercise for all of the eating we did on vacation! Amalfi isn't too far of a walk if you go down the stairs. Pogerola is a shorter walk, although there isn't much to do there, the people are very friendly and the restaurants delicious. Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy the whole time we were there, but we still enjoyed our stay.
"Extremely convenient location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 25, 2012
We enjoyed the Hotel Fontana. It's not fancy, but very comfortable, with a helpful staff, good breakfast, and couldn't have been more conveniently located for bus or boat travel. Right on the main square, across from the Cathedral. We'd stay there again!
"Great end to an Italian honeymoon"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 15, 2012
My husband and I spent 23 days in Italy and ended our trip in Amalfi. The hotel was recommended by a friend in the area. the hotel was great. The views from our balcony were amazing. the hotel is at the end of the "strip" which is good since it is easy to get to and parking is readily available. the staff is really what made our stay memorable. they were all so nice and accommodating. The lounge downstairs has a bar and wi-fi. they were helpful in planning day trips to the surrounding areas (salerno, capri, positano, etc.) with ferry information, travel tips and more. Although we did not use the beach, guests have free access to the private beach below.
"great views"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 12, 2012
the hotel staff were awesome, used the shuttle to go to and from Amalfi, the shuttle driver was kind and friendly. The hotel grounds were beautiful, as was the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

"Nice place in Amalfi"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 18, 2012
Amalfi is AMAZING!!! This hotel is a very nice place and is very convenient to anything you want to do while staying in Amalfi. The hotel caters to families by offering various room configurations. We did not use the restaurant at the hotel because we wanted to try local places. Parking is extremely limited, and can be expensive. Be sure to check out Ravello and Capri while visiting Amalfi, neither of those towns will disappoint you! The drive up to Ravello is "interesting" as any drive along the Amalfi Coast is! The high speed boat to Capri is great!
