Spent one night at the Taj with my wife and 18 month old son, and really enjoyed ourselveas. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They continued to go above and beyond to take care of me my wife and were excellent with my son (on several occasions going above and beyond to make him happy). It is very quiet at the hotel, so if youre looking for a nice peaceful and quiet getaway this is a great place to stay. We took a private houseboat onto the lake, but the Taj offers a 45 minute ride if you want a quick tour. Overall it was quite enjoyable. Two nights may have been the correct amount of time to spend here, as you need some time to get out and explore the backwaters!”
