  Very well taken care of. Kids pools are separate from adult (nice when people have had their fill of cocktails). Food is great. Store in resort is waaaay expensive. Don't loose the towel cards or lock box key! They charge a vast amount of money if so. Would go again in a minute!

  First the negatives: Israel at the front desk refused to look at my printed reservation which clearly stated we had a gold suite, we arrived at 11 and he made us wait till 3PM only to give us the wrong room! We were in our right room by 430, half our day lost (and if you read the Marival review you will understand how this really blows!). The evening entertainment was very poor, including new years, if you did not play pool or foosball you had nothing to do but watch TV. They have a bar and a DJ booth, do SOMETHING there! Karaoke, dance contest, something, The positives: Great decor, amazing food, and with the exception of Israel, great staff! Adriana the front desk manager was superb but we should have received something for our hassles.

  After booking our stay at Samba months ago I had started to look at the reviews. They were mostly negative and I was a little concerned. We had a wonderful experience. Everything from the staff, the rooms, the shows and the grounds were great. We enjoyed the activies like the aqua aerobics, dance lesson, chess, ping pong, volleyball, stretch class, beach walks and biking. Also the food was awesome! What a selection! It was such a variety of dishes. My 2 teenagers liked the fact that there was always food. We enjoyed our stay and would definitley go back.
