After booking our stay at Samba months ago I had started to look at the reviews. They were mostly negative and I was a little concerned. We had a wonderful experience. Everything from the staff, the rooms, the shows and the grounds were great. We enjoyed the activies like the aqua aerobics, dance lesson, chess, ping pong, volleyball, stretch class, beach walks and biking. Also the food was awesome! What a selection! It was such a variety of dishes. My 2 teenagers liked the fact that there was always food. We enjoyed our stay and would definitley go back.

I was really impressed by the facilities, The hotel is not as huge as the other Maya resort but I like that a lot as we had an incredible view of the ocean. The pool, restaurant and beach were just right there very convenient. There was a small store market just outside the hotel and a few other restaurants a walking distance. I recommend this hotel for couples of families with kids. It is not defenitely for partying.
