The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The staff appear to take great pride in providing a quality experience for their guests. The grounds were well kept as were the common areas including the beach.

Good rooms, good food at a very fair price...lots of up and down climbing, but there are plenty of shuttles available to take care of that...if you get a room up the hill from the lobby you will hear the hvac units making noise all day/night and not hear the ocean waves...if good Internet service is important in your room, it might not be what you need, it was a disaster for us and there was no urgency to get it to work..they don't have the proper amount of modems to cover all the rooms

The staff was great. The hotel was immaculately clean at all times. My girlfriend and I were very pleased with the experience and will stay again in the future. I read reviews before going, and was worried about the food and the beds. Both were fine. I think some people are just snobs, writing nasty reviews because they are unhappy with everything. I've stayed at the Fairmont and the Four Seasons in Maui several times, and I had more fun and was treated better at your place. Very cool, great people, great time

The Grand Solmar is a wonderful hotel that will get even better when it is finished. The staff makes the biggest difference and even overcomes the growing pains (no spa, fitness center and only 1 restaurant on site). The sister property takes care of the missing pieces. All of the staff greet you by name after only meeting you one time. Only downsides were sketchy wifi service and maids cleaning the rooms later in the day. Location is great since everything is quiet but only a 3 minute taxi ride into Cabo. You can hike over a few rocks to Lands End. We will return to this resort during our next visit to Cabo.

We , family of five, loved our stay here. Staff is so service oriented, especially the poolbars and -restaurants and the activity people Fernan & Juan.
We felt like entering heaven, this was our best vacation in years. It was worth taking the all-inclusive.
Although it is hard to get information about what is included ( tips are not, and prices are high, so take cash to pay the tips!)
Our kids felt free and safe here and could do what they liked.
The food is really good, made from scratch.
