Second time there and wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff is great and they bend over backwards to make your stay there very enjoyable. Lorenzo in the Resturant on the 7th floor is the best and the shorter dj is a ton of fun. We will be going back again and again.
"Great for the price!"

The hotel is great for the price. Not very luxurious, but the rooms are nice and clean. As soon as we arrived, we got upgraded to a suite that looked like a small apartment. The location is very convenient, very close to town (15 min walk or a $8 dollar cab ride). The pool area was a little crowded and it took a long time to get a drink, but I'm guessing it was because it was the beginning of spring break. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.
"Nice hotel, lacks customer service."

The hotel has a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly but not responsive. The hot tub was a "COLD" tub. They need to improve the check in process or experience, they do not make a good impression, they made us wait for 45 minutes to check us in (we had a reservation) and then they promised to send towels to our room and they were never delivered. When you go to the pool they make you go to the front desk to get pool towels. Overall the hotel is nice but do not expect much customer service.
"Comfortable, Clean and Convenient"

We found Marina Sol to be exactly what we were looking for. It is an older hotel but very clean. We were pleased with the roominess of the unit and the close proximity to everything we wanted to explore. We sometimes took taxis, sometimes took the city bus and most of the time, we walked to our destinations. Raul, the Concierge was very helpful when my husband broke his glasses and we needed to get them fixed. Our bed was a little bit lumpy and the kitchen toaster didn't work but nothing worth stressing out over! We did have a little problem when we changed our dollars to pesos. We had to go to three banks before we found one which would exchange! You want to keep some pesos because some restaurants don't take bank cards and don't keep a lot of cash on hand for change. But we loved our ttime in Cabo!
