"Great Hotel with Excellent View and Location"

Our two night experience at this hotel was fantastic. George (the Hotel Manager) was very friendly and service oriented who helped us since we arrived. The view from the hotel and our room was a dream and it is close to Fira which has lots of restaurants and life. I would stay in this hotel again.

I LOVED this hotel. nothing too fancy but very clean, breakfast was delicious, location was extremely convenient, close to the port and very easy to find since it is very close to a mexican restaurant which is a reference point. We did rent a car, which I highly recommed. Staff was extremely helpful, nice and they go out of their way to help you and make you feel comfortable. There is no staff at the reception the whole time, they have a set schedule to be there, but there is a number to call if you need anything, this was not a problem to us since we were hardly at the hotel. Hotel has a beautiful pool, which we did not get to use because of the weather. Hotel has a beautiful view of the volcano and the beautiful sunset, you'll get some beautiful pictures from there. I would definitely stay at Nautilus again. They also upgraded our room without us requesting it or any additional charge. Oh! and it was very quiet and peaceful at night. Oia is about 20 mins, Fira about 5mins, port about 5 mins, airport about 15mins.
"San Antonio is super fancy"

Arrival at port and there is a driver waiting to take us to the hotel, a 30 minute ride. Hotel is located on a cliff with a view facing into the caldera; ie the best view ever. Walking into the lobby of the hotel is a dream and the infinity pool is majestic. The service was too good at times, with a lovely welcome basket, turn down service and staff available at a moments notice to fulfill any desire. The rooms were spacious, private and comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of fruits, pastries, anything you could want. Dinner/Lunch (same menu) at the restaurant was nice/expensive. The bus to Thira or Oia could be caught right infront of the hotel. Only draw back I can think of is that the Wifi did not work in the room, although it worked just fine in the private seating area just outside our room. Everyone there was a couple... perfect romantic/honeymoon getaway.
"Best Hotel Ever...."

Hotel is perfectly located at the start of the path leading into Oia with all the shops (and famous sunset spot). Our room had an unobstructed view of the caldera... breathtaking view every morning! The hotel grounds are in immaculate shape, with beautiful pink flowers lining the doors of reception and walls so clean and white I felt they were painted the day before we arrived. Service quality was incredible. They assisted with my wedding proposal and arranged everything prior to arrival (restaurant, menu, flowers, music, private waiter, etc...). I can't thank them enough for an unforgettable experience. Thank you Canaves Oia!

This is a great choice for single older females traveling alone. The staff was helpful and friendly. The spa services were wonderful! The bus stop is only a block or two away to easily go to Fira and Oia. My room was decorated beautifully in lovely colors. Bed mattress could be improved.
"Great location with great views"

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it. It's a little up the hill, but that means beautiful views from your balcony. It's so nice and quiet and just a quick 3 minute walk down to the beach and promenade. Our room was great, spacious and clean. My only complaint was the shower/tub. The curtain rod was shaped a little odd so the curtain was much smaller than the tub and was kind of a nuisance. But everything else was absolutely great! The pool is beautiful and the breakfast was really good. I highly recommend this hotel. Kristine, the woman who worked at the front desk, was also super helpful with coordinating our shuttle bus to the airport, car or scooter rentals, sailboat tour of the caldera, etc. She was so nice and really spent time with every guest to make sure their stay was perfect.
