Easy to get to all the major attractions, great Suite, extra helpful staff and very good and plentiful breakfast.
"Beautiful hotel in middle of Santorini!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
First, the staff was amazing. He picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port (although this is not a garaunteed service if the hotel is busy). He also arranged a rental car for us. The hotel itself is also lovely! Great views, nice pool, and amazing two story units with front and rear balconies (we were upgraded to 2-story units for free since the hotel was not busy). The location is near the center of the island on the west edge, perfect for viewing the sunset this time of year (Sept-Oct). Easy drives north to Oia and also south to Akrotiri and the beaches.

Great location and caldera view right in front of our room. Staff especially Pilot is very helpful with our needs and gives service with a smile.
"The name says it all -- simply amazing"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 1, 2012
Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Stunning caldera views, amazing and most helpful staff. Rooms are fantastic and artfully and tastefully designed. Imerovigli is by far the best spot on the island if you want tranquility without being completely away from the action. Breakfasts are amazing. Simply an amazing property. It was the end of the season and they upgraded us to a Honeymoon Suite which was simply out of this world.

Afroessa was a wonderful hotel. The service was outstanding and the views were fantastic. It's in a good location. You can easily walk to some restaurants. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our room had our own patio overlooking the caldera that provided a great sunsets without the tourists. The room was very clean and they were great about bringing fresh towels daily and breakfast was brought to our patio each morning. Breakfast was good with pastry/toast/yogurt/fruit, but was the same each morning. If you're going to Santorini, stay in Oia. Totally worth the extra money to stay in the beautiful place and so easy to take the bus to pretty much anywhere else on the island. The front desk helped us book sailboat trip for good rate and had good recommendations on wineries to see. The only downside to this place was the hot tub was luke warm and you have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the restaurants/shops of Oia. Try to get off the bus at the big white church before the final stop in Oia to save yourself the extra walk on a very narrow road. Really enjoyed this hotel and we got upgraded, too, since they weren't totally full!
"Just outside Fira"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 13, 2012
This hotel is a 15 euro taxi ride from the airport. (The hotel is also close to the bus stop for Fira.) It is just outside of Fira, but within walking distance. (You must walk along a busy stretch of road for a block or so, but not a big deal.) The room was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and all spoke English. It happens to sit perfectly in the center of the west coast of the island, so day trips from this hotel to all parts of the island are easy. My only recommendation would be to rent a quad/scooter so you can see/do more from this location. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect!

"Great Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 7, 2012
Exemplary hotel in the premiere location in Santorini. The hotel provided a great residential suite in one of the great white cliff cave dwellings. It felt really authentic to be in this suite. There a great sea view and the AC worked well. The breakfast area also overlooked the sea. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. Lastly, I would recommend to take advantage of the hotel transfer as Santorini hotels are difficult to locate given the lack of numbered addresses.
"Good place if you get it fro a good price,,"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 1, 2012
The pool and the breakfast on this hotel are the best feature. The bathroom in my room was small and the shower even SMALLER. The shower was NOT clean enought and you could see some mildew build up at some corners. The shower was broken and did NOT stay locked up high enought to use.... I had to fix it my self securing it with a piece of rope.... I asked the front desk about it and they told me that they were aware of the problem and the plumber was going to fixed the following week (?????).... The front desk people is ok but not friendly enought (in my opinion), however the overnight guy is super cool and friendly.... This is a good hotel if you have a rental car....
