"Beautiful hotel in middle of Santorini!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
First, the staff was amazing. He picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port (although this is not a garaunteed service if the hotel is busy). He also arranged a rental car for us. The hotel itself is also lovely! Great views, nice pool, and amazing two story units with front and rear balconies (we were upgraded to 2-story units for free since the hotel was not busy). The location is near the center of the island on the west edge, perfect for viewing the sunset this time of year (Sept-Oct). Easy drives north to Oia and also south to Akrotiri and the beaches.

"Amazing views"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 16, 2012
Afroessa was a wonderful hotel. The service was outstanding and the views were fantastic. It's in a good location. You can easily walk to some restaurants. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone.
"My friends and I just loved this place!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 4, 2012
We loved this place! The setting is beatiful and there are only 21 rooms in the hotel! You look out at the beautiful countryside scenery of Santorini and the Aegean Sea. The pool area is perfect. And Pedros, the owner of the hotel is incredibly accomodating and charming.Margarita runs the guest relations and her English is great. Anything we were interested in doing, she called and got information for us. Its really about a 20 min walk to Oia along a very busy road. But the bus stops right in front of the hotel, or its about 7 Euros if you take a cab. There's no restaurant at the hotel but they do serve breakfast. They also have bottles of fabulous Greek wine for about 10 Euros -- and you can drink those poolside, on your deck, etc. There are several restaurants within a block of the hotel -- great food at the one next door. And ask for Daniella as your waitress. She's great!

Hotel is right on the beach! That was awesome. You wake up, walk outside, and jump right into the water. Wonderful location! The owner was very helpful and nice. He owns the place and works the reception. Was always helpful with providing advice on sites to see and things to do. You get that family owned service here that you don't get with big chain hotels. The hotel is on a strip in Perivolos with lots of restaurants, bars, clubs, and coastal umbrellas. Great place to relax and party. And the Sea View umbrellas are free for anybody staying at the beach.
"Awesome view, very clean hotel, nice staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 20, 2012
My fiance and I stayed here while visiting Santorini and even though it took us a while to find it (it is located towards the end of a narrow walkway), we were very delighted once we got there. The hotel is located in Imerovigli, which is perfect if you want the beauty of the hotel-on-a-cliff and views of the volcano and Therasia, WITHOUT the noisiness of Oia. The first thing you notice is how clean and organized the hotel is. Then, you are amazed at the view of the ocean, which is awesome no matter which room you stay in. The atmosphere was very peaceful - if there were a lot of guests, we certainly didn't notice it. The room itself could have been a little cozier perhaps, and the bed was ok, but could have been a little more comfortable. Not a huge deal at all. Each room has a table for two people outside the front door so you have a little private balcony that you can just sit and relax. Very nice. The staff is very nice and hospitable. We decided to stay an extra night because of how nice the island was and they offered to move our stuff to the new room (for the extra night). We went sightseeing that day and when we returned to the new room, our stuff was there! Very nice service. The pool is a little small, but it wasn't a problem at all because there weren't a lot of people there so most of the time you have it to yourself anyway. Overall, this was well worth the money and I would definitely stay there again.
"Perfect Hotel - very nice staff and great rooms"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 20, 2012
We stayed at the Perissa beach location of Samson's village apartments for 3 nights in August. We loved the hotel very much. It was very pretty, rooms were clean and had all the amenities, the pool looked very nice, the breakfast was great. The hosts were very courteous and kind. Overall this hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We will definitely recommend this place.

"Great shared views of the caldera, well run hotel."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 13, 2012
We loved the staff here, and the views were great. This hotel had a nice pool, and great shared views. The views from the rooms are good, but not as optimized as they could possibly be. The staff at the hotel helped us with everything possible, and Julian was especially amazing.
