"Taking good care of us"

We were just here one night, waiting to join a cruise. The morning desk assistant was very helpful in finding details about our ship, which the tour company had not provided. He called the harbour and stuck with us until all was sorted out. Clearly he took a personal interest in our safety and happiness.
"Price can't be beat!"

The price of this hotel is fantastic--and what you get for it is great. Clean hotel and rooms, beautiful pool and bar / restaurant open at (nearly) all hours!
My one complaint was that we didn't have a double bed (2 singles pushed together). With the tile floor, they kept sliding apart! If there was a double bed, it would have been perfect!
"In the heart of new part of Rhodes town"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 13, 2013
Very decent apart hotel in walking distance from the beach, the harbor, the old town of Rhodes, and 5 min walk from the amazing food place (Koykos). The state of amenities is a little bit shabby, but everything was clean. I personally liked the bed (and slept like a baby). The personnel was more than willing to assist and provide all information (regarding the sightseeing, rent-a-car, bus infos, etc).... Overall, one great experience
"Good buy in great neighborhood"

Basically, this was a good buy for the price in a great neighborhood, assuming you want to stay in New town. Near great beaches, excellent restaurants, Casino, aquarium, and easy walking distance to Old Town, bus stops, etc. We were able to take the airport bus into town and walk with our suitcases without problems. Nothing special in terms of amenities (although the pool was very nice, and I'm a lap swimmer), decent breakfast, friendly staff, but just a tad seedy (the comments about the dirty, worn carpet in the hall seemed to be true, although we had no problems with air conditioning or extra charges). Overall, a clean budget hotel in a super location (loved the public beach across the street and the Internet cafe next door--we seem to have problems finding free Internet at Greek hotels, but this was a pretty good compromise).
"close to airport"

We needed a place close to the airport since we were leaving at 6AM. Esmerelda was very inexpensive. For what it cost, I was impressed with the hotel. It is located in the heart of Kermasti about 2 km from the airport and has no parking. Kermasti is very crowded and commercial.
The room was large, in the back of the hotel so it was reasonably quiet. It was clean with a balcony overlooking the yard of the house next door. The owners/staff were very polite and helpful. During our tours we have paid 3 or 4 times as much for rooms that were far inferior.
