The center doubles up as a concert venue, with gigs from big name rock and pop acts packing out the stadium. If your tastes are more towards the classical, then the Royal Conservatory of Music has a vast, wood paneled auditorium with perfect acoustics. On the calendar you'll find concerts from the masters of their instruments, as well as showcases by the up and coming conservatory students. Toronto Zoo lies just outside the city center, with over 700 acres of exhibits, themed around different areas of the world. In one day you can explore the African Savanna, seeing rhinos and zebras up close, before moving onto the rainforest with monkeys swinging through the trees. There's also an area dedicated to Canada's own creatures, from grizzly bears to buffalo, which you can safely view up close.
