An enjoyable stay and stafffriendly. Trainee staff not as attentive as one might expect - three requests for adaptor! But good breakfast, great grounds and the free boat service to Luxor is a great extra.
"Great hotel but not smoke-free"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 8, 2012
My family had a wonderful stay at this hotel, our only complaint was that although our room was supposed to be "smoke-fee", cigarette smoke odor came through the ventilation system on our 2nd day. Since one of us is asthmatic, we complained to the lobby at 11PM. The staff was very helpful and gave us new rooms on the spot. We really appreciated how they handled the situation for us. This hotel was within walking distance to Luxor Museum, which was nice.

This hotel is a good value, with a good location close to Luxor temple and reasonably comfortable rooms. But we were very disappointed that we could not enjoy the ambiance of the the roof top lounge/restaurant area for two out of the three nights we stayed at the hotel. This was because of a large group birthday party one night and a group tour meeting with a noisy loudspeaker another night. The roof top area is nice and we wanted to be able to have a drink and enjoy the view of the Nile and Luxor temple, but it was too noisy with the group acitivities for us to enjoy being there.
