Great location to the main tourist attractions. All walking distance.

location was even more convenient than I realized from the map and the hotel is very nice (a converted palazzo w/hammered beams), although it's above a MacDonald's on a piazza so a little noisy in the evening. I'd read that it was two flights up from the entrance to the lobby but it was a straight shot and not difficult for me. all the rooms are on the lobby floor or up one more floor (there is no elevator but if you can manage the stairs, it's a great place to stay.) staff was very nice. there was an air conditioner in my room that I could only turn down a few degrees, but the windows open and it cooled off at night.
"Fine for a night"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 1, 2012
IT's a clean enough, fine enough hotel for a short stay. No english with service but that's to be expected in Sicily. A little hard to find and odd layout within the building but the rooms are fine. Breakfast was pretty lame. Horrible coffee, which in Italy is just plain wrong.

It's a unique hotel near the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great. The grounds were lovely and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. The hotel has a shuttle service for an extra fee, but less than a taxi. The driver is reliable and speaks some English.
"Americans in Catania."Reviewed by Rand M of "San Francisco" on Feb 24, 2012
The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The room was large. It's a B&B. A twenty minute walk from City Center where restaurants, cafes and shopping abound. WIFI was free and connected easily. Location is in older part of town. Little hard to find. Do not judge from initial modest, neighborhood appearances. The place ended up being very nice.
"Very close in to all the Catania central"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 23, 2012
Great reasonable place to stay...some outside construction on a new entrance and a lift....still very satisfied..construction did not effect the hotel proper...Staff great and very good English..nice breakfast and beer box...would certainly stay there again.....Los Houstanios
"B&B Bellini"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 13, 2012
Lorenza is a kind host. We were pleasantly surprised with our room; it was a bi-level lofted space, with floor to ceiling windows. The bed was on the floor but it was comfortable. The heating system was adequate for sleeping in the loft, but the bottom floor stayed very cold at night and was unusable. A long walk from the train station, but very central to town center.

Our stay at B.A.D. was delightful-- offering an immersion into the life of Catania, the fish market and fruit and vegetable vendors, with excellent proximity to the piazza, cafes, tourist information and many aspects of the wonderful life of this city. Our only regret was not booking the apartment so that we could cook a little ourselves. Thank you Alessandro and staff for your guidance, and for helping to make our first trip to Sicily a true pleasure.

G welcomes you with a comfortable apt at a good value within walking distance from the lively duomo. I will ring Antico Teatro again if I return to Catania
