"Ibis Gurgaon - Not Paris or Oklahoma City?"

Did not cross my mind that this is the same Ibis I use when visiting the Paris berbs. Rooms in Gurgaon are much larger and more comfortable than in Paris. The restaurant is also much less congested - but the food is more American than French or Indian. Keep in mind that Accor owns both the Motel 6 and Ibis chains. Management style is not that much different between Ibis and Motel 6! The Ibis (truly much beyond Motel 6) is a safe clean stop for a suspicious western traveler but lacked the Indian food and ambiance I like. The visit was worth the look at the bathroom. It is a wonder of modular construction! It is a precision but surprisingly large plug in unit worthy of a first class john with shower in an Airbus A380. Looking for something similar for the lake house!
"Lemon Tree Guraon"

Typical Lemon Tree experience -- very pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms, good food, and good value for the money. I will be back. My only complaint is that it is necessary to pay for the Internet, but I find that at a lot of hotels.
