Hotel is nice, and comfortable. We rented a suite, the layout and the amount of space was great. However, there is no chest of drawers to put your folding clothing. Also, the bathrooms need to be deeply sanitized, bit of mold growing on the tile walls. I would probably stay here again... love the pool
"Great hotel, nice location"

This hotel is very nice. We've stayed here several times and will stay many more in the future. The location is good, near to restaurants and shopping in the Juffair district. The staff is friendly and courteous and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Room service is quick and the food is quite good. I definitely recommend this hotel as it's nice but not too expensive. The only negative is that there is limited parking.

I don't understand why this rating is not higher. I was immediately greeted with great receptionist and given a glass of orange juice while they took care of checking us in. They offer to take your bags to the room in order to make your check in process easier. Once we got to the room, we found a clean room with the most comfortable sheets. Every day, they made sure to restock everything and clean the room to perfection. Room service was prompt and the food was delicious! Especially the breakfast! You want the breakfast. The surrounding neighborhood had a nice hustle and bustle, but not overwhelming or loud. You can hear the prayers going down during the day, which gives a very soothing and relaxing touch. If you want a taxi cab, they will ensure you have one within 5 minutes or less. This hotel is all about customer service. I would stay here again gladly any day of the week.

The Sheraton was comfortable and reasonably run. The room was fairly standard for a hotel at this price range. Bahrain has expensive hotels compared to Dubai and some other Gulf States. The amenities in the room were good. Water pressure was good. The bed was very comfortable. Everything is fluffy down so if you are allergic to down you'll need to ask the hotel for substitute bedding. It was nice that the hotel was attached to a nice mall although there are not many food options at the mall. It is a 20 minute walk to the old, central part of town. The upmarket hotels are not in the center. Those options are much less expensive---and look the part.

My plan was to only book 5 days at Days Hotel in Manama. I was thinking we would find another place while there that we might like to try. Well, we were so pleased at Days that we decided to stay there the entire vacation. I def reccommend it. It's very nice for the price. The food was good, the service was good...they did a very nice job...was very pleased...

I found this hotel to be a great find, cozy spot and the people are very friendly. The hotel is bigger than I thought, had everything on site, no need to travel outside unless you want to. Comfort, cleanliness, convienence, cost effective. Great Find
"Marriott Bahrain - Excellent everything!"

I went to Bahrain for business. I wanted to stay at a well known brand hotel, and Marriott did not let me down. They let me check into my room at 9am. They gave me a "tour" of the suite. It really is an apartment: two big bedrooms, 2.5 baths, hall closets, living room, large dinning room, and large kitchen. The room was amazing, and the staff were great (friendly and helpful). However, I think the reason this hotel is affordable at the current time (April 2010) is because there is so much construction around it (just a guess). I bet when they pretty up the neighborhood, only the wealthy will be able to afford this one. So, enjoy it while you can!
