"very pleased and hope to stay there again!"

I was very pleased with this hotel and will definitely stay there again and recommend to others; my family and I had absolutely no complaints – we had a wonderful stay! The reception staff were always on duty and invariably polite, pleasant, professional, and with a great sense of humor. Special thanks to Mia and Matko!
The hotel itself has an unbeatable location! Very easy to get from the airport - take the airport shuttle to Old City (35 kuna), and then Bus #4 to Hotel itself (the bus stop is literally outside the hotel - ticket is 15 kuna if bought on the bus or 12 if you buy at the hotel or bus kiosk in Old City. Also nearby (10 minute walk) there is a nice promenade with shops and restaurants.
The beach is a short walk with some stairs from the hotel and you can rent lounges and umbrellas or just enjoy the pebbles. Bring water shoes and a beach towel with you. Hotel inside can benefit from some upgrades but no complaints as everything was superclean.
Hotel provides a nice daily breakfast – omelet, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, tea/coffee/orange and apple juices, several types of flakes and yogurts, several cheeses and deli meats, delicious pastries and breads and fruit. Restaurant staff were very nice too, especially Marco! I was leaving early in the morning and the staff prepared a dry breakfast for me in advance.
Loved it and am hoping we can stay at Hotel Adriatic again!

As most of the other reviews say, this hotel was very clean and well maintained. We spent most of our time at the pool as it was very hot out in August! The beach nearby had plenty of activities, and there were a few shops and restaurants on the grounds (and you could also go to the neighboring hotel). The AC was only okay (when compared to American standards), as it took me a few nights to adapt. We found most places in Dubrovnik didn't really have AC and eating outside was still pretty warm! The bus to town was convenient (bus #6, only about 20 min). Breakfast was decent, and the pool cafe was reasonable with good ice cream. The hotel wasn't very busy while we were there, so we had no problem finding lounge chairs at the pool.
