Hotel Jafferau
"Great Hotel but Location an isse"

This is a new hotel and the rooms were great (by far largest room i have had for a ski holiday). First time in Italy skiing and the staff were very friendly and helpful, albeit some of the bars etc were closed the time we went but this was right at the end of the season. Main issue there is nothing else near the hotel it is in the middle of nowhere with not even a shop. It is a good 15-20 min drive up the hill from Bardonnechia along basically dirt tracks for part of the drive. It is ski in ski out accomodation but i felt the slopes there were pretty dissapointing, we skied locally on Friday afternoon when we arrived and it was perfect for that but for the rest of the time we drove to sauze d'oulx for much better skiing (40 min drive)” 10/04/2008
