"Great for all inclusive by the sea"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 13, 2012
This is a decent place to stay if you want to have a no worries holiday in the sun. It is a bit far from town but there are plenty of things around and the hotel will setup tours into the desert or on a boat out to some of the coral reef for snorkeling.
"a realy nice place for relaxation"Reviewed by msawaf of "cairo, egypt" on Jul 25, 2010
the check in was pretty smooth. The room was great, spacious and really clean.. at 7 we went down to dinner which was fine and in general the buffet items changes everyday for dinner. Breakfast was okay too. The best thing about the hotel is how it's located somehow far from the busy city center. It's the perfect place for a relaxation holiday.it's more of a resort where there is a supermarket, a hairdresser, pub, theater, bar etc etc all in the same place. The only defect was the sea.The beach is followed by corals then comes the sea water where you need to walk on a jetty in the water to be able to reach the swimming area. As for the pool, it was the best part of the holiday :) I'd recommend it for anyone who wants some relaxation n chill time
"Good hotel but bad food"Reviewed by A Al-Eryani of "Sana'a" on Aug 8, 2009
I made a reservati0n at the Hilton Long Beach, Hurghada for a family holiday. We arrived in the evening and checked in smoothly in the main hotel building which is closer to the beach, swimming pool, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and large balconies. The furniture is good and comfortable. The service of the hotel is generally very good. Everybody was trying to help guests. The staff was really nice. The sandy beach of the hotel is one of the best I have seen in Hurghada (and I have been there several times). There were several swimming pools connected by canals and a nice atmosphere for relaxation. At night, there was live singing by the pool and other show by the health club. The shows are rather of modest level. The only negative aspect of this hotel was FOOD. It is All Inclusive, and it was clear that only the worst ingredients were put in the food. Even soft drinks were diluted with water. Theme dinners ( oriental night and Mexican..etc.) had no theme at all. It was almost the same poor food every night with very little changes. Only one kind of fruit served everyday (mainly orange, banana, or pear). It was inedible. It was clear to me that the chef is good but with bad ingredients,he can't do any better. I have been to other resorts in Hurghada, and usually food is very good there. Anyhow, this was a very good hotel with a very good service and bad food, but with the price I got from Hotels.com, it is certainly worth the price.
