"Good value for price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
This hotel has a lot of charm, as it is built in the style of the old temples. The staff is very friendly and response to all needs and problems immediately. The room we had was large enough so one could actually use the room beyond just sleeping in it (yoga, etc.). There is also a small refrigerator in the room to store drinks and food items. The only drawback of the room was that one really did not want to open the window shades as all privacy was lost with people walking by to and from the (nice) pool. The location is convenient as the hotel offers free Tuk-Tuk service into the central town, just 5 minutes away. If you are looking for a convenient, moderately priced, nice accommodation, this hotel should be your choice
"Interesting design"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
New resort hotel, between Siem Reap and airport. One of many new hotels on airport road. Lovely pool / villa arrangement behind main building, also where restaurant is located. Breakfast buffet was excellent, but for evening meals we went into town by tuk tuk - $5 e/w or $8 return. Room I hotel was very large and well-equipped. US $ used for everything - ATMs only issue US $.
"Great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
The staff was friendly and helpful planning my sightseeing of the temples and surrounding areas. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of touring. The room was always in nice condition and the fruit on arrival was a nice touch. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. English was spoken by everyone on site, not perfectly fluent but certainly well enough to get on. I will definitely stay here again.
"Fabulous Place!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
We just spent 3 nights here with 2 other couples and we all loved it. Clean, good food, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again. We had river view rooms, and even though the street was there, it was pretty quiet. We heard horns a few times, but it wasn't obnoxious. Fun city and great people.

"Nice hotel, great value, but hard beds"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Great property. Comfortable rooms except for the very, very firm mattress that was as hard as a rock. Pool is very nice.
"Nice property"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Great value for a terrific property. The hotel is a little old but well kept and modern. My only complaint would be the very delicate patio furniture. Great shower and comfortable bed. The pool was great.

Hotel was clean and people who owned the hotel were very hospitable. Breakfast was served in their cute little garden. Very conveniently located not very far from the airport. Night market is very close by. Couple things that can make guests even more comfortable are #1. Their mattress could be a little more softer and #2. That they provide bath soap 'cos when guests arrive there late night it's very inconvenient to go looking to buy soap. Other than that stay was very comfortable.
"Fantastic out of the way treasure"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
We loved the Wooden Angkor. The staff was amazing, and the hotel was far better than expected. My only complaint was that the bed was a little hard but i find that to be true throughout Asia. The breakfast that was included was great and very filling. We even ate dinner there one night and loved it as well. When we come back to Cambodia we will be staying here again.
