"Great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 22, 2013
Roome was clean comforatable modern with some historic charm. Free WiFi worked great (not always the case in Italy).Location is great right by a tram stop and at the begining of the historic district.
"I liked here alot"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 14, 2012
It has garden table that we could have picnic dining nicely. Right next is another hotel with restaurant that we ordered a steak from there to eat at garden table. So nice time! Hotel is not located in the center, it is 4km distance but we had car to move. Big parking lot free of charge, low price for chamber, ok breakfast. Good!

As most of the other reviews have described, the place (especially the furnishings) could do with a makeover; they seem from an earlier generation. However, the rooms are clean and the general look was not of concern to us since we were only staying a night. The location is really convenient. It's less than a 10 minute walk from the railway station (Gare Dijon Ville) and the rooms are quiet although there's plenty of activity around. The plaza around the Duke's Palace is also about 5 minutes away. One thing to bear in mind: their front desk is closed for an hour in the afternoon. If you're unlucky (like us) and arrive at that time, be prepared to wait.

"Great place to stay close to train station"Reviewed by Amanda S of "Tempe, AZ" on May 20, 2011
We came to Marseille for the night and wanted something close to the train station, clean, and comfortable. This was the perfect hotel. Location: It is literally right next to the train station (make a left as soon as you walk out the doors and you'll see the big sign.) This was great because we didn't have to wheel our bags very far. They next morning we walked back toward the station and down a zillion stairs (which would have been a collossal pain if we would have had to drag our suitcases down to get to one of the hotels at the bottom) to get to town. It was really easy and only took about 15 minutes to walk through town and get to the old port area. Room: The room was standard 3-star, modern, not very big, but the bed was perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was small like you can expect in any 3-star hotel, but it was very clean and modern. Service: The hotel staff members were really friendly. Restaurant: They have a nice outdoor terrace, a great bar in the lobby, and a pretty decent restaurant that was open late and served good food. We skipped breakfast because we wanted to get into town, but it looked like they had a really nice spread. I would highly recommend this hotel to business travellers, individuals, or couples who are coming to Marseille by train.
