"Good Hotel in a Good Location."

Nice modest hotel in a great location in Chamonix. The staff was accomodating - however appeared to be short staffed at the front desk a lot of times. But the one person that was there - did there best they could with all that was going on. The rooms were modestly decorated - but clean. Excellent location - in great walking distance to everything Chamonix. If you do not want to spend a lot of money on accomodations, I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Amazing location. Walking distance to anywhere in downtown Chamonix area. Very happy with our stay. My only complaint is that the building is not sound proofed very well. The loud clunking of ski boots in the AM was a little bothersome. But it acted as a good wake up call to get up and get out to ski some fresh pow. All in all, great place. I will most definitely be back.
This is a vintage Hotel in the center of all of the activities and excitement of Chamonix. Hotel is across the street from the train and bus station. Trains are unheard from the rooms, but the busses can be heard occasionally.
The Desk and Hotel staff were young, and very helpful. I didn't eat in the restaurant, however the smells were wonderful through the day, wafting through the hotel.
The Hotel restaurant and bar are very popular for the after-ski crowd, and the hotel becomes very busy at meal times and in the evening.
Two things....Parking is listed as "Limited"....It is VERY limited with about 8 spaces and alternate free parking is quite far. Second, wifi is only available in the lobby and some of the 1st floor rooms, and is inconsistent.
All in all, I liked my stay at the hotel.
Everything was good except the hotel staff wanted extra fro breakfast whereas the breakfast is included when you book with Hotels.com. I have been traveling with Hotels.com for over 7 years. The lobby area is plain looking and in the 4 days I was there the men's room toilet (WC) did not have soap for the entire 4 days (men's room in the lobby). Housekeeping is not meticulous. However, overall the hotel is great.

This is not as much as a hotel as it is an apartment. Meaning no room service, no room cleaning. But loved it! Extremely good location, walking distance from tha bars, and the buses that take u to all the slopes right next to it:) the staff was very friendly! Just keep in mind that u r responsible for cleaning it all before you leave;)

The chalet is conveniently located just outside city limits for great mountain atmosphere and no city hassle. The chalet owners are friendly, helpful and provided excellent information for sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to take some for a snack on a hike. I would highly recommend this chalet for an enjoyable visit.

Very friendly staff, we arrived late Friday evening after a 9 hour motorcycle ride, the staff went out of their way to hold the Kitchen open a little late to ensure we had a hot meal. Throughout our 4 day stay the staff, especially Sophie, who spoke fluent english gave us no desire to leave the hotel for an evening meal, which is just as well as the only downside to the hotel is that it is a very long walk to town and taxis cost around 25euros each way if you can get them. However it is just a 5 minute ride or drive which is fine providing you don't want to drink. Room was clean with all the necessary amenities, looking forward to our next visit
