"Perfect for one night stay close to airport"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
Nice hotel, free wifi in lobby, free wired internet in room. 2 Restaurants, Italian place was excellent. Best for a one night stay if your soon heading to the airport to depart. 24-hr shuttle bus to the airport leaving every half hour. Airport is literally 2-3 mins away. I also like the staff since a couple of them greeted/responded to me with some humorous sarcasm (somewhat lost art in Egypt)
"Great for a layover"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
Had a 12 hour layover and this hotel is literally 5 minutes from airport. It has a casino but it doesn't open until 9 pm, the room was very modern though the mini bar fridge was warm, so all the drinks were as well. The pool and landscape was nice and it was quiet in the room which is amazing dice Cairo is such a horn friendly city! They have a security gate at the entrance of the grounds and security at the door to the hotel so I felt very safe while I was there.
"Hilton Zamalek in nice location"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 5, 2013
We stayed two nights at the Hilton Zamalek on a family vacation. . As it was near Xmas time, the hotel was able to give us two great rooms overlooking the Nile with views of downtown across the river. The rooms are super spacious, clean with comfortable beds and several English TV channels with either news or movies for free. The neighborhood, we thought, was better than staying in downtown. Much nicer because it hosts many embassies. There are several good restaurants within walking distance and it seemed very safe. And, cleaner than downtown. Cairo is a crazy, dirty city and we found the Hilton Zamalek to be a nice refuge from the city.
"Radisson Blu Heliopolis"

Overall, a pleasant stay. Very close to the airport, perfect for layover stay. Only 15 minutes by taxi. Excellent service by all staff. Very pleasant. They had a tray of apples waiting at the room upon arrival. Will return when opportunity arises.
"Luxury and great value!"

Hotel has a wonderful central location. Amenities, Nile view and service were excellent. As we stayed during the time of the constitutional vote, we were concerned about personal safety. The hotel had beefed up security - sniffer dogs, guards and metal detectors. Turns out the direst thing about our 4 night stay was the overwrought television coverage.
