  Very nice place with a refined air. Traditional hotel with traditional interiors, appropriate for Scotland. Definitely upscale, particularly in bar and restaurant area. Not a place to slop around in jeans, especially if dining.

  Columba is good value, you could find some faults but they are minor. In all it's good value for money and in a great, picturesque spot near town, on the river side.

  Close to all as hotel is in the heart of the shopping district. Steps from all major transportation-buses and trains. Book trains a day or so before travel and you save a bundle. Buses go to airport.

  We enjoyed our stay the people were nice. The breakfast was excellent. The room was large and very comfortable.

  Owners went out of way to be helpful and thoughtful. Cheerful decor. Very clean and welcoming. Very convenient for 6:40 am flight from Inverness. Rooms not en suite but bath and toilets were sufficient in number and not inconvenient to use. Beds very comfortable. I had expected more restaurants and shops in Ardersier from what I read online. It was a problem finding something for Saturday dinner as hotel only served residents that night. We bought snacks from the Coop, which appeared our only other choice.

  The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. The room was updated and spacious but still cosy. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to eat there other than breakfast. We would definitely go again given a chance.
