"Great staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 2, 2013
My flight arrived into Jeddah at 2:30AM and all I wanted to do was get some rest before my meetings. When I walked into the reception area, the person at the desk immediately gave me a cold towel to freshen up and swiftly took me to the room. I'm not even sure they had my reservation details but the staff simply said please get some rest and we can sort out the details in the morning. It was wonderfully thoughtful and I really appreciated it. In the morning everything was done -- they had found my booking information and I was off to my meetings. Great, thoughtful service.

Good hotel, the smell of the room was badbdue to some cleaning material, once we complained they immediately changed with a better one. In general it is a good experience

"Westerner Friendly Hotel in Olaya District"Reviewed by Andy C of "San Francisco, CA" on Sep 16, 2011
I stayed at this hotel for a business trip to Riyadh. It is conveniently located of King Fahad Highway in the Olaya district. It is walking distance to the Kingdom Centre Shopping Mall where there is an abundance of shopping and dining options at all price ranges. The room was very clean and comfortable. It has satellite TV with many English language channels including BBC, CNN, etc. The free wireless internet was fast enough for video chatting, so that was a huge plus. The food at the hotel restaurants was extremely overpriced. The breakfast and dinner buffet was probably 3 times the price of what you'd get somewhere else (SAR 75 and 167, respectively). The staff are generally helpful and speak English. However, don't expect much help in terms of restaurant recommendations or tourist information if you have a spare evening and want to spend it outside the hotel. I asked for the National Museum's location and they acted like they'd never heard of it. Overall, I'd stay here again because of how westerner friendly it is. However, I don't think I'd eat at any of the restaurants or room service unless I REALLY didn't want to leave the hotel.
"Excellent business hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 8, 2011
A very good business-class hotel, and a great value for the cost (especially compared to other leading hotels in Riyadh). Not four-star calibre but very good for what they offer. Internet worked throughout the hotel, except occasional outages of the wireless connection in the cafe. Excellent breakfast and decent dinner fare, plus it's an easy walk to Kingdom Tower if you want to eat at the mall. Definitely my default hotel for staying in Riyadh from now on.
"Riyadh Marriott"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 22, 2010
For the price, this hotel cannot be beat. The hotel has some age to it, but the rooms were clean and the lobby was fine. The hotel employees were very courteous. I went to the concierge and told him I needed a car and driver for the afternoon, and in 20 minutes car and driver were ready. Good experience, but this hotel is slightly below other Marriotts in terms of general appearance, but I would stay here again anyway.
