"good for a short stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
The hotel is located pretty close to Jaco beach. But their is a big hotel being constructed just next door and they start work at 6 am and till 5 pm. THERE IS THEREFORE A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION CREW AND NOISE. We informed the hotel, and they were sympathetic, but could not do anything about it. Most nights you can hear the traffic from the road as well as this is off main street. Rooms are spacious with hot water, a/c, wi-fi, but no soap, cutlery or glasses or cups. The best thing of the hotel was that they let you make free calls to US and Canada. The room phone was not working so we had to go to the main reception area for making calls. The main reception closes at 10 pm. convenient location,, clean with a pool and good for a short stay. BUT VERY VERY NOISY. the construction will go on till december 2013.
"Excellent Excellent Everyone beyond Excellent"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Once you plan your trip to Jaco, make sure to buy a good gift for Kattia and louis. Buy atleast 100 dollar gift otherwise you will regret. These people will make you feel that you are at home. I travelled lot to South America and Latin America. I never seen host like Katia and Louis. Once you stay in Copacabana hotel you will never going to stay anywhere else in the area. All the staff is so caring and go extra mile to make sure that you are happy and enjoying the stay. I will definitely go back. Hotel is excellent with the beautiful sunset view. REMEMBER buy a decent good expensive gift for Kattia and Louis. Please dont forget. Thank you.
"Great place right on the beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 20, 2012
We stayed in a 2bdrm apt on the beach and it was beautiful The room was huge and the patio opened to the beach. It was the last hotel on the beach so it's quieter. The staff was very helpful too

"Pretty cool place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 25, 2012
This is a well run place, located in a "quieter" part of a noisy beach town, which is high on the funk scale but low on classy scale. The security staff was friendlier that the rest of the staff who could use a course in tourism courtesy 101. Nevertheless the breakfast buffet was great and hardly stingy spread. Best of all the proximity to the beach and views of surf and ocean breezes coming through the palms into the open air restaurant. Overall I appreciated this place and especially the iguanas and occassional stray dog, would the staff were so charming
"Hotel 9 a great place on the beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 2, 2012
This is a great place to stay and the resturant is also very good. Talk with the owner he looks as though he really like owning a hotel in Costa Rica. The addition of free surfboards was awsome.
"Oceans La Paloma Blanca"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 31, 2011
The condo-motel was in a great location a quick 5 minutes car ride from downtown. Our suite was beautifully decorated and spacious. The master bedroom had a dining area balcony view if the ocean and was very comfortable. My only knock was that there was absolutely nobody that spoke English and the office was never open when I attempted to get information (five to six attempts over two days). I had to call an off site number to get service.
