The hotel was in need of maintenance but the overall look was quaint, old Mexico, palm trees, swimming pools, garden vegetation, tons of steps and no elevator. The hotel is in a very convenient location and with beautiful views right in the Santa Cruz Marina. Very Friendly Staff!! Gracias Amigos!! And the breakfast was great with fresh fruit, eggs, coffee, etc, They also have a beach club down the street that's right on the beach.. I would not consider it a 4 star resort, but my family and I enjoyed ourselves

The front desk was kind enough to give us the very best suite in the house on the very top of the 10th level. There were only 3 suites on our floor, and it was really huge! The beach is beautiful but not at all good for swimming. Nice pools, food is good enough. Breakfast is never ready at 7:00, and since dinner starts at 7:30, and was only served at the beach we would eat a heavy lunch at 12:30 and a snack at 4:30, and that was it. We were the only non Mexicans staying at the hotel which didn't bother us, but in September, with only one flight a week from the US I guess it is really hard for Americans and Europeans to visit.
