"good quality at great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Overall good. There was a mix up with our late arrival, but it got sorted out. Hotel staff was very helpful booking day excursions.

Great location, clean and the 2brm apartment was perfect for our group of 4. Will stay again
"Wonderful Place to stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 18, 2013
Would recommend this hotel location; it is steps from the beach and right on the main town strip in town. Clean and comfortable I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Port Douglas.
"On the beach for the eclipse"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 2, 2013
Loraine and Bryan were most congenial hosts. The gardens are beautiful and the pool unique in design. Walking distance to the beach wonderful. Port Douglas was close enough for convenience, but far enough for quiet and peace.

Excellent location. Close to everything. Managers are great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in "Paradise". Loved Port Douglas!

"Great Hotel Outside of Port Douglas"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 6, 2012
We were in town to visit for the eclipse. When I booked the reservation I completely forgot that the hotel was more of an extended stay type. The rooms are only services once a week and there aren't any amenities like room service, or even ice machines. Since we were outside of Port Douglas our only food options were next door at the Ramada (expensive), down the street (a great little cafe and liquor store) or taking the shuttle into Port Douglas. If you take he shuttle, I highly recommend buying a multi trip pass when you first get on. The comfort of the hotel was good and the private entry to the pool was great. Although private is a little misguided. You can see everyone's patio area except your neighbors on either side. The staff at the desk were always very helpful and even went out of their way to make us comfortable since my travel companion had an injury. The hotel is also a short walk to 4 mile beach. Excellent for eclipse viewing!

Great stay in Port Douglas. Loved the location, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Did not like that there was no shower curtain in bathroom, but that might be a room by room feature. Be advised there is no lift, but the staff helped with my luggage.
