Booked two rooms, one studio apt and one hotel. At check in hotel roomwas upgraded to two studios in order to keep us at the same location, 65 Acland. Pluses were location, close to all the benefits of Acland st. And next to a 24 hr McDonalds. Down side was location as there was some noise but easily solved by the AC unit. Room is quite small but very functional and appears to have been refurbished within the last couple of years. We were only there to sleep so no problem. Biggest complaint was no fresh towels which was an issue as we were active and it was hot.

It is a beautiful old hotel, but during the day is a construction zone due to remodeling the hotel.. Pool and fitness center is closed also. Aside from that, it is a great hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable.
