"If in Rotorua"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 8, 2013
This Holiday Inn is one of the nicest places in town. The town can smell like sulphur as you are located on a geothermal sulphur springs area. The major problem with hotels in New Zealand is that they charge for everything! Local calls, wifi, breakfast, parking, etc.. My wife and I were on our Honeymoon from the US there and we enjoyed it. Rotorua had lots of fun stuff to do and this hotel was close to many of them.

Worked out fine--clean place with good amenities and friendly staff. About a half hour walk to the spa and museum and downtown.
