"Beautiful and upscale"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 10, 2013
Right on the water with a lovely view of the lake. Good food in the restaurant, very helpful front desk personnel. 20 minutes free WiFi in the lobby (seems to be a Copthorne standard) or pay for wired in your room. The location is an eight minute walk to the downtown area and about 12 back up as there's a climb involved. Be prepared to pay attention as to what floor you're on and want to go to as the hotel rooms are on lower floors than the lobby due to the hotel being built on the side of a hill. Park free on the street or a nominal charge in the inside parking garage. A variety of extra pillow types are available for the asking.
"Perfect Queenstown Place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 10, 2013
Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The location is in central Queenstown (and so no more than a couple of blocks from anything), but right next to a large park, so feels separate. The rooms are modest size, but well laid-out, and so work well. We highly recommend it.
"Easy walk to town. Great views!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 21, 2013
Excellent staff - Stewart the Manager was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and easy. They were happy to store bags and were timely in taking care of booking taxis, restaurant reservations...never missed a beat!
"quiet location in beautiful surroundings"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 13, 2013
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with refrigerator, sink and extras for having breakfast before heading out for the day--a big savings on time and money. My only criticism was the noise if people in adjoining rooms were loud, especially New Years Eve.
"great view just outside of Queentown"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 9, 2013
Hotel room very clean, continental breakfast good quality, not really walkable to downtown Queenstown because of distance and big hills. Most expensive Internet we saw in Queenstown, Te Anau, Fox Glacier, and Mt. Cook.
"Friendly Service ; gorgeous views"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 19, 2012
Staff very friendly, helpful, and cheerful to serve. The hotel has magnificent views over the "Remarkable" mountains. A little far uphill from the action of Queenstown which maybe a plus or minus on personal preference.Comfortable rooms
"great for families"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 29, 2012
Good location, easy walking distance to town center. The only downside was the charge for internet. $20 per day, and that was only for one device (my husband and I couldn't each use our devices).

"Queenstown stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 12, 2012
Overall, a great find in a beautiful part of the world. The hotels is very high end and the rooms are fantastic. I asked for a balcony and it made my stay. I overlooked the lake and the mountains with a glass of NZ Pinot Noir...perfect!! Good location, close to town ...but far enough away to not hear the insanity. Just as a note, the hotel has a bunch of groups that stay there and they are older folks...so if your looking for a hip spot...look elsewhere. Vert quiet at night.

Great hotel and service. Beds could be a bit more plush to go with the rest of the hotel.
