  I stayed at Citgate, and with a 3 night stay got a great rate. My room was spacious and well appointed, if a bit minimalist. The lobby was also nicely decorated, but smaller and less grandiose that the Duxton or Hyatt, for example. Service was first rate, with friendly and helpful staff that go the extra mile. The free internet in the business center was also very helpful. Overall, very nice and an outstanding value compared to the competition. If you need a gigantic opulent lobby, this isn't the place, but otherwise an excellent choice that I recommend.

  This hotel is in a great location. The train station and all the shops are 2 blocks away. Northbridge is a short walk over the bridge but far enough away miss all the crazies. The rooms are small but are ok for a day or 2.

  Clean & comfortable, I was happy here. The room I booked on line was nice but if you want a real window you'll need to upgrade. The window was actually a skylight with a window frame to give the illusion of a real window. Having said that I would book this hotel again. It's about a 10-12 minute walk from the center of Perth, which I found to be an advantage; quiet and more like a neighborhood. There are good restaurants within a 1 block area: Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian.

  The hotel is in a good location near the mall so there are shops and restaurants nearby. The room is large and has cooking facilities and microwave. It has a work desk and the bathroom is a reasonable size. There was no curtain on the shower so water splashed on the floor. For business, the Internet charges are unreasonable, particularly with the download limits, so I would recommend buying a USB modem, the equivalent of 2 days internet costs. Overall value for money seemed only fair.
