For someone on a budget who doesn't mind staying in a clean, modern university dorm room, with attached bathroom and kitchen down the hall, it's perfect. For someone who expects daily maid service and a chocolate on their pillow, stay elsewhere. Located on an attractive campus across from the airport, about a 15 minute trip into Kelowna, you'll need a car to get around, but for the price, for me, it was perfect.

Had a suite with a decent kitchen one night each end of a week long ski trip in the area. Room was very clean, comfortable. The included breakfast was good (which means better than the average included meal). Located right across the street from a Safeway and lots of restaurants and other shops within alking distance. 10 minute drive to the airport.

This hotel could be really amazing if it was updated in more restful current colours. Too much beige and brown everywhere. A bit stuck in the 70s/80s. Fairly depressing bedrooms even if comfortable and pleasant otherwise. Nice TVs. The restaurant could use better lighting than the fluorescent fixtures over each table - a bit creepy actually. Halogen fixtures would create nice ambience and be more comfortable to sit under.

In a nutshell, this place is your no-frills getaway. Take it for what it is: a peaceful hangout by the lake to swim, go boating, play tennis or golf. If you're accustomed to 5 star amenities, this is not the place. Regardless, the rooms were clean, had creature comforts (kitchenette, small living room, private balcony), and the views of the lake were fantastic. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Free WiFi was a nice bonus. Location is ~20 km from downtown Kelowna, so get accustomed to driving if you need to head into town for stuff. The suite was very home-like and comforting. I would definitely visit Lake Okanagan Resort again.
