If you don't want to eat out all the time, this is a great place to use as a home base. The lake is a short walk from the train station and the lake with a beautiful path to walk or ride bikes. Staff hours are limited and you don't have daily servicing of your room, but the Radisson Hotel next door is available to assist any time you need help and the staff are very helpful. Laundry facilities are also available.

We arrived late and were greeted warmly. Parking was free and located next to the building. Breakfast of bread, yogurt, juice, and coffee was served in a pleasant dining room. Our room had three balconies, giving us a view of stately old buildings. This provided a nice last stop in France before heading into more expensive Switzerland.
