The room, a single Queen bed, was relatively small but acceptable. The bathroom is a good size, but mind the step in and out of the shower. I didn't try the breakfast because it seems overpriced. There are restaurant options galore within a short drive of the hotel. The internet is free up to 20MB per day, otherwise there are several options available for pay. My only warning about the internet is if you end up paying for an internet access package through the third-party provider GConnect to ACTUALLY WRITE DOWN the voucher number needed to log on to the internet after your purchase. The email confirmation you receive after purchasing doesn't contain the voucher number, and if you are inactive after a certain period of time the system boots you off, causing you to have to re-enter your voucher number to re-access the internet. I had to call GConnect to retrieve my voucher number after having neglected to write it down (not a big deal, but it was 15 minutes I could've spent doing something else). Otherwise, a good stay!

Yes, it's very luxurious and the service was superb! Nice pool, HDTV, WiFi, lovely gardens, upgraded rooms, and best made-to-order breakfast I've ever had in a B&B! Claire and her staff are very helpful, went beyond call-of-duty, just a 15 min walk to Pick-N-Pay huge supermarket with take-away foods and also full-service restaurant. I'll bring my wife along next time, she'll just love this place!!

Fantastic Staff. Really Attentive. The food at the cantine was amazing. I especially liked their soups and fruits juice blends. You get what you pay for with the Regent, fantastic panoramic views of a beautiful city. You get standard five star hotel service, with a niche, tranquil atmosphere. It's in a really safe neighbourhood with excellent security features. facilities were great! I would definitely consider staying there for a longer period of time the next time I am in Johannesburg. Reception staff are very warm, friendly and sensitive to client needs.Cleaning staff are also really efficient and nice.

Great breakfast buffet with good variety, all areas of hotel very clean and room nicely arranged. Sign up for the hotel card and get free internet. Quick shuttle to the Gautrain and shopping mall or just a quick walk to the grocery store next door. The gym door was jammed shut one morning so everyone got an extra workout to open it but was fixed immediately afterwards. The gym is located next to the ironing board room if you prefer your exercise that way.

Very large comfortable rooms in a contemporary design. The concierge was helpful in finding us reasonably priced taxi service, which is quite expensive in Joburg. The location is safe with lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Lovely staff. Only issue was poor wifi service in the room and the internet cable wasn't functioning, which may have been a problem if we were on business.

Excellent addition to the joburg area! The rooms are spacious, the service was great and the amenities (especially the outdoor pool) were excellent. I would recommend it to anyone visiting joburg.
