"great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 10, 2012
Great hotel, perfect for any occasion. It is small with personal service, good food and free parking. You can walk to the waterfront, to the center of town, restaurants, and even a gourmet food market. The staff could not be better.

"Magnificent hotel setting and gardens"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 26, 2012
We enjoyed our first visit to Cape Town at this lovely hotel, with its spectacular and lush gardens to stroll around. Nearby is the not-to-miss Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. We enjoyed our two-story suite with a kitchenette and heated floors! Breakfasts (included) at the Conservatory restaurant were pleasantly staffed and provided in a lovely indoor setting to enjoy the gardens outside. Fortunately, we had made reservations well in advance to have dinner at the Greenhouse restaurant on the premises. It's considered the top restaurant in S.A. and did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the hotel's desk staff did not meet our expectations; we had to make multiple calls to get service for minor requests and they were completely unhelpful about their complimentary shuttle services to the waterfront. We were fortunate to have a fabulous driver/guide on contract with the hotel who advocated for us and smoothed over the miscommunications.

What a wonderful hotel stay and wonderful staff always go out of the way to assist us. Very modern and real close to the waterfront.
"Cape Cadogan - must-stay for Cape Town"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 20, 2012
We had an amazing time at the Cape Cadogan. The hotel is beautiful, a very distinctive, colonial feel. The room was very nice - a bit on the small side for those used to US-style hotel rooms, but very comfortable. There are also a number of very nice common areas (including a lovely courtyard) that we spent a lot of time in. The staff was wonderful- they helped put together a number of trips, and were always very professional and friendly. Breakfasts were included every morning, and were always delicious. There was a very nice buffet with fruit, bread and pastries, and preserved meats and cheeses, as well as a number of very good hot options cooked to order. I would strongly recommend the Cape Cadogan to anyone who wants a smaller spot with tons of character.

"Even more than we had hoped for!"Reviewed by Al and Tricia H of "Bel Air, MD" on Feb 11, 2011
We had received good reports about this stylish new hotel, but were still pleasantly surpised by the quality of facilities and room accomodations, Even more impressive was the attentive personal service we received during our visit. Staff members always called us by name and responded to any requests promptly and courteously. This hotel definitilely provides the rare combination of comfortable, unpretentious luxury.
