"Fantastic sea view"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 21, 2013
The hotel location is great, just beside the sea front. The view from the hotel room and restaurant is really fantastic. Overall maintenance of the hotel was not good though, especially the elevator which was small and slow.

Was very plesantly surprised. Room was huge and could see table mountain and sea. Is a little noisy but it was expected due to its city centre location. Would recommend.

"One of the best ways to see Cape Town"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 14, 2013
Instead of staying in expensive tourist traps, try this B&B and become part of the Cape Town neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here. It truly feels like you're living in South Africa and meeting friendly neighbors. The owner is delightful and makes a great breakfast.

"Modern hotel, great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
We came back from Franchoek after a two day winetasting expirience and need a refrigerator in our room. We just contacted the houskeeping and they supplied it right away. The location is great, just a few minuts walk to waterfront in the middle of the Waterkant area. Good restaurants just around the corner, and a swimming pool in the backyeard. The pool is a bit narrow but we did manage. The staff is a bit distant, and could be a bit more caring and smiling.
"Beautiful oasis in the center of Capetown."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Beautiful colonial hotel with great service and location. In the center of Capetown, close to Table Mountain. A relaxing atmosphere after 30 hours of travel. Short cab ride to the port. Great precruise hotel.

"Very conveniently located."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 21, 2013
The Adderley Hotel Staff were very warm and helpful and made my Cape Town experience a very happy one. The Hotel is located near all the sights like the Company's Gardens, the Castle, Greenmarket Square, St George Mall, Long Street, Bo Kap, the Train and Metro Station and near the Hop/On Hop Off Tourist City Bus route. V& A Waterfront can be accessed by a short taxi ride. The V & Watrefront stays open late and has wonderful shopping and wharfside restaurants, which is helpful since downtown tends to close up very early in the evening.

Hotel is in an excellent location and the staff are helpful and pleasant. No maid service on the weekends...This was not made clear to us by either the hotel or the hotel.com website. Pool and gym were fun. Well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms were a little quirky with an absence of towel racks in one of the rooms we stayed in and no outlets for hair dryers etc...We used the outlet in the kitchen for hair dryers etc. We would use this hotel again.
