"Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Columbia. The staff were very friendly and some spoke english (which helped). The breakfast was buffet style with an ok selection of items. The hotel is in the city center so it is older, but I sort of like that charm. Just know if you prefer things to be completely modern, you will not like it. All in all, it was clean which is the most important. A/C worked fine and there were no problems with the internet. There are several networks you can use, so which ever picks up the best signal. The comfort of the beds could be a little better, but it wasnt horrible. Windows have a metal draw down which is great if you want to sleep in without the sunlight coming through. The surrounding neighborhood can be a bit seedy and seem dangerous because of the people hanging out and some vagrants, but to be fair, I noticed that through just about the entire city. It sort of reminded me of San Francisco in that sense. (Again, nothing directly against the hotel, because it was all over). All in all, I would stay there again. Also, from the airport (GRU) it is very easy to use the airport bus to Praca Republica and the hotel was a 7 minute walk away. With traffic, the bus took about 50 minutes, but I flew home on a Sunday and it only took 30 minutes to get back to the airport from Praca Republica. (The airport bus has an office in Praca Republica).

"Convenient location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
Very good location, clean, good service. Nice gym (should add an elyptical machine). Excellent breakfast buffet (although not included in the price). Close to Anhandava street with several excellent restaurants.

"Nice Hotel, but not too close to business district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 14, 2013
Very nice hotel.
"Decent business hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 6, 2013
The Park Suites ITC was decent and clean with a good pool. The room service was a bit lacking after 10p as were the options for breakfast in the morning but, all in all, I had a clean (if a bit dated) room, working internet and was able to sleep soundly.

"Excellent cost benefit in a well located area."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
I spend over 120 nights out every year. This was my first time at this hotel and it really surprised me. The bedroom is wide, with a separate room with a desk for working. I also have no complaints about the breakfast. Overall, this hotel rates above the average when compared to business hotels in São Paulo, and the room rates are much lower. The only reason I did not rate five is because the equipment in the fitness center were in poor maintenance condition.
"They did go the extra mile"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
This is my second time in this hotel. The rooms are much bigger compared with other hotels similarly priced (if you book time in advance). The hotel seems new and the people at the front desk did go the extra mile. The hotel is small but that seems as an advantage. I will definitely go there on my following trips to São Paulo.
