"Excellent cost benefit in a well located area."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
I spend over 120 nights out every year. This was my first time at this hotel and it really surprised me. The bedroom is wide, with a separate room with a desk for working. I also have no complaints about the breakfast. Overall, this hotel rates above the average when compared to business hotels in São Paulo, and the room rates are much lower. The only reason I did not rate five is because the equipment in the fitness center were in poor maintenance condition.

Good staff, beautiful building, clean room, close to metro station. I love the hotel.
"Nice stay for business"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
I stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments for a business trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood behind the hotel was nice with a few restaurant options allowing you to feel safe walking around. The breakfast buffet was okay. I would not advise ordering food from the hotel restaurant. The fitness area was nice as well. Overall a good stay.

"Ups and Downs"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 7, 2013
First, the location of the hotel is not bad. While the hotel is on the upper part of Rua Oscar Freire, and thus not on the "trendy" section, it is only a 5-7 minute walk to there, and more importantly, to the nearest Metro station. We did not feel the location was a problem, especially because there is a grocery store and a few eating establishments very close by. Also, we felt very safe in the immediate neighborhood. Second, the hotel service is overall good, but can be a problem at times. Our first room was nice and had a balcony, but the door stopped working soon after we arrived. This forced us to change rooms, one floor up but no balcony. No big deal, except that night the bathroom started flooding from under the toilet. This forces us to switch rooms again, and the front desk manager apologized to us and told us she would upgrade us. Although we were "upgraded" to the next room level up, I am not clear at all what that means. Besides a higher floor, the room was the same exact size. Breakfast was pretty good, and the staff does a good job of making sure foods are restocked. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if it was right for you, but there are other hotels I am sure that provide equal or better service.
