  I was looking for a cheap, clean room and the El Castell did not disappoint. Too far from beach to walk, but only a short drive away. Since I was only crashing there overnight, didn't really expect much for the price. The staff was very nice and the breakfast (cereal, juice, coffee, pastry, make your own waffles) was actually a nice bonus - just wish there was protein option. Rooms a bit small and dated, but bathroom was exceptionally clean. Nice that there wasfree fridge and microwave in room. I would stay again and recommend it if you understand it is basic 2 star hotel.

  This is not a luxury hotel. But for the price it is perfect. The rooms are a little dated but they are clean and comfortable with lots of clean towels every day. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
