I choose this hotel every time I need to stay in Oakland as it is close to all the places I need to go during the day and it offers good dinner places at walking distance for the evening. However, noises from the street can be quite loud if you are accommodated on a street view room. The staff is always very nice and friendly.

We needed a place to stay while in Oakland and this hotel was close to where we wnated to be. It was just fine.
